[Hiring] People Operations Manager @Prophecy

Role Description

We're looking for a hands-on People Operations Manager to lead and manage Prophecy's people function as we scale. Partnering closely with the SVP of Finance & Operations, you'll oversee people operations, benefits, recruiting, and employee experience. This role is ideal for someone who can think strategically while rolling up their sleeves to get things done.

Recruiting & Onboarding:

• Manage end-to-end recruiting, including job postings, interview coordination, offers, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Maintain accurate hiring documentation and recruiting systems.

Benefits & HR Operations:

• Oversee employee benefits administration, including employee of records, enrollment, renewals, and employee inquiries.
• Coordinate with benefits brokers, payroll providers, and external vendors to ensure smooth HR operations.

Employee Experience & Engagement:

• Serve as a trusted global HR resource for employees.
• Support engagement and recognition initiatives.
• Partner with leadership to foster a positive workplace culture.

Employee Lifecycle Management:

• Coordinate employee activities, including performance review cycles, employee relations, and other HR programs to ensure a consistent employee experience.

HR Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Maintain HR policies, employee handbooks, required training, and employment records.
• Support employee relations matters and workplace investigations as needed.

Process Improvement:

• Streamline HR processes, maintain HR systems, and develop scalable practices to improve efficiency and support business needs.

HR Reporting:

• Maintain accurate employee data and provide relevant HR metrics and reports to leadership to support decision-making.

Ad Hoc Project:

• Support ongoing Ad Hoc projects on a needed basis.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in HR, with at least 2+ years owning multiple people functions.
• Bachelors or Masters Degree.
• Recruiting experience is a must.
• Knowledge of Rippling HRIS System.
• Working knowledge of US employment law; multi-state or international experience a plus.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Seniority: Mid to Staff Level.
• Location: Bay Area, CA or Remote.
• Compensation: $100,000-150,000.
