Role Description

The Global Payroll Operations Partner is responsible for the successful operational delivery, validation and oversight of assigned payrolls and legal entities.

• Acting as the primary operational owner for a portfolio of payrolls, countries and entities.
• Ensures payrolls are delivered accurately, compliantly and on time through effective payroll validation, issue resolution, stakeholder management and vendor management.
• Works closely with HR Service Delivery, Finance, Reward, Benefits, Technology teams and external payroll providers to deliver a seamless payroll experience while maintaining strong controls, compliance and operational excellence.
• Leverages data, automation, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to improve payroll outcomes, enhance employee experience and generate business insights.

This role reports to the Payroll Manager.

Qualifications

• 3+ years payroll experience within a complex payroll environment.
• Experience working with outsourced payroll providers.
• Strong understanding of payroll validation, controls and reconciliations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and investigative skills.
• Experience managing payroll issues, exceptions and escalations.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience using HRIS and payroll technology platforms.
• Strong Excel and data analysis capability.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Experience working across multiple jurisdictions, entities or payroll providers.

Requirements

• Experience working within a multinational organisation.
• Experience with Workday.
• Payroll qualification (CPP, CIPP or equivalent).
• Experience supporting payroll transformation initiatives.
• Experience working with payroll integrations and automation solutions.
• Ability to interpret payroll data and identify business insights and trends.
• Knowledge of AI-enabled, analytics-driven or technology-led payroll operating models.
