[Hiring] International Payroll Analyst @Reddit

Role Description

Reddit is seeking an experienced, highly analytical International Payroll Lead to own and scale our international payroll operations across LATAM, EMEA, and APAC regions. As a key individual contributor with deep cross-functional influence, you will combine data-driven execution, meticulous attention to detail, and international tax compliance to support a rapidly growing workforce. Reporting to the Sr. Global Payroll Manager, this role will help to drive major strategic initiatives—including Workday enhancements and global payroll vendor implementations—to build scalable, best-in-class operational processes.

What You’ll Do:

• International Payroll Execution & Oversight:
  • Manage, audit, and execute multi-country payroll delivery across 15+ international countries.
  • Ensure high accuracy and strict adherence to regional pay schedules.
  • Lead the payroll calendar and operating cadence across countries.
  • Partner with local in-country payroll providers.
• Compliance & Equity Management:
  • Oversee international equity compensation payroll processing (RSUs, Stock Options).
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance across international tax jurisdictions.
• Systems & Scaling Initiatives:
  • Act as functional lead for payroll technology projects.
  • Leverage Workday to automate workflows and optimize system configurations.
• Cross-Functional & Vendor Management:
  • Partner with Benefits, People Operations, Legal, and Finance.
  • Manage external vendor relationships and third-party tax fulfillment partners.
• Process Controls:
  • Establish, document, and enforce global payroll policies and SOX controls.
• Strategic Growth Projects:
  • Support special business initiatives, including M&A integrations and new country market entries.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of progressive payroll operations experience in a high-growth, publicly traded tech company.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in payroll, accounting, finance, human resources, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency with Workday Payroll and global payroll software platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for complex data analysis.
• Thorough understanding of global equity taxation, statutory compliance, and international labor laws.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and exceptional communication skills.
