Role Description

Due to continuous growth, Source HR is looking for a Human Resources Consultant. We do things differently at Source, and are looking for someone who is commercially savvy, highly responsive, and able to provide pragmatic HR support, tailored to our client’s requirements.

The Opportunity:

• Join Source HR with the flexibility to shape the role and working pattern around the right person.
• This can be a full-time role or a four-day week, with options to appoint at Consultant or Senior Consultant level depending on experience.
• Work across a portfolio of clients in different industries and at various stages of growth, from small businesses through to mid-market organisations.
• Enjoy varied and commercial work, with the autonomy to manage clients your way, backed by a highly experienced and close-knit team.
• Open to applications across Australia, with flexibility to work from home or use office locations as needed.

What You Will Do:

• Deliver operational and strategic HR support to a portfolio of retained clients.
• Lead and implement HR initiatives and projects across client organisations.
• Navigate complex employee matters balancing commercial outcomes with compliance.
• Build strong client relationships to support retention and long-term partnerships.
• Work closely with our employment law team to provide integrated advice.
• Contribute to project work aligned to your strengths, including training and recruitment.
• Act as a brand ambassador identifying opportunities to grow existing client relationships and bring in new business.

Qualifications

• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Experience across the full spectrum of HR, from operational delivery through to strategic input.
• Solid understanding of Modern Awards and the Australian industrial relations framework.
• Experience delivering tailored HR programs or projects with demonstrated impact.
• Comfortable in a client-facing environment, ideally within consulting or recruitment.
• Enjoy working across different industries and business sizes.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and adaptable, able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
