Role Description

We are looking for a Home-Based HRIS Data Analyst to join our Client, a growing U.S.-based company. In this role, you will support the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Paylocity, the company's Human Resources Information System (HRIS). You will be responsible for:

• Maintaining accurate employee and HR data
• Developing reports and dashboards
• Analyzing workforce metrics
• Supporting HR processes through effective system management and data-driven insights

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing standard and ad-hoc reports
• Improving data collection and reporting practices
• Troubleshooting system issues
• Implementing HRIS enhancements
• Supporting user access management
• Conducting data audits and reconciliations
• Documenting system workflows
• Providing guidance to HR team members on system usage and reporting tools

This role is ideal for an analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive professional with hands-on experience in HRIS administration, HR data management, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in HRIS administration, HR data management, HR reporting, or a closely related function
• Practical experience supporting HRIS platforms, maintaining employee data, managing system functionality, and improving HR processes
• Experience developing, maintaining, and distributing HR reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data management, analysis, and reporting
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric or comparable business intelligence tools, such as Google Looker or Power BI
• Experience working with Paylocity is preferred
• Understanding of data validation, data audits, reconciliations, access controls, and HR data privacy requirements
• Familiarity with U.S. employment practices and applicable data privacy regulations is preferred
• Experience managing complex projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and balancing competing priorities
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive approach to identifying system inefficiencies and recommending enhancements
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote environment
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain strict confidentiality
• Willingness to work outside normal business hours when necessary

Requirements

• Oversee the day-to-day administration and maintenance of Paylocity
• Develop, maintain, and distribute standard and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and analytics
• Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to improve HR metrics collection
• Conduct routine data audits, validations, and reconciliations
• Monitor HRIS performance and system utilization
• Coordinate system improvements, upgrades, and new feature implementations
• Investigate and resolve HRIS issues
• Provide informal training, guidance, and support to HR staff
• Maintain documentation covering system workflows and operating procedures
• Stay informed about emerging HRIS technologies and industry practices
• Partner with various stakeholders to address reporting needs
• Support complex HRIS-related initiatives
