Role Description

The HR Technology Platforms Manager is responsible for the management, configuration, maintenance, optimization, and ongoing evolution of WCG's Human Resources technology ecosystem. This role is the primary steward of HR systems and digital capabilities, ensuring WCG’s HR technology investments effectively support business objectives, enhance employee and manager experiences, improve operational efficiency, and provide actionable workforce insights. The role directly oversees WCG HR's growing people-based technology portfolio, data needs, and AI-enabled future.

The HR Technology Platforms Manager combines technical expertise, business process knowledge, and strategic thinking to maximize the value of HR technology platforms. This role partners closely with HR Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, Technology Solutions, Finance, Compliance, and business leaders to identify opportunities for innovation, automation, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision making. The position also serves as a WCG HR technology thought leader, proactively monitoring market trends, emerging technologies, AI-enabled solutions, and best practices to ensure WCG maintains a modern, efficient, and scalable HR technology environment.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• HR Technology Strategy & Governance
  • Partner with HR Leadership Team and business owners to create an HR technology roadmap.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing HR technology platforms and recommend enhancements.
  • Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for the HR technology ecosystem.
  • Manage governance to ensure tech stack integrity, security, compliance, and scalability.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and best practices.
• System Administration & Optimization
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize HR technology platforms.
  • Manage system upgrades, releases, testing, configuration changes, and integrations.
  • Continuously evaluate system utilization and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with Tech Solutions and vendors to resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure systems remain compliant with applicable requirements.
• Business Process Improvement
  • Translate business requirements into technology solutions.
  • Apply business process redesign to improve efficiency and user experiences.
  • Identify opportunities for workflow automation and digital tools.
• Stakeholder Partnership & Customer Experience
  • Build strong working relationships with HR leaders and stakeholders.
  • Gather stakeholder requirements and prioritize solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on HR technology capabilities.
  • Collaborate on training, communication, and change management plans.
• Data, Reporting & Analytics
  • Extract and supply data from HR systems to stakeholders.
  • Ensure data quality through regular audits and validation activities.
• Vendor & Project Management
  • Manage relationships with HR technology vendors and partners.
  • Lead system implementations, enhancements, and optimization projects.
  • Develop business cases, project plans, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, risks, and outcomes.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience administrating and optimizing HR technology platforms.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with integrated enterprise HR systems.
• Prior experience supporting enterprise HR systems.
• Experience with HR systems data extraction, reporting, and analytics.
• Demonstrated experience with at least two HR technology implementations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft CoPilot, Excel, and reporting tools.
• Experience managing HR system configurations and testing.
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills.
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Promotes and integrates AI-enabled solutions into daily work.
