[Hiring] HR Coordinator @First Onsite - CA

Role Description

If that sounds like you, our HR Coordinator role could be the next great step in your career. You will support key HR processes, assist employees and leaders with day-to-day inquiries, and help keep our people operations running efficiently. This position is an 18-month contract to provide maternity leave coverage. The salary range is $50,000-$60,000, based on experience.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN HR COORDINATOR

• Support the full employee life cycle by preparing and processing transactions for new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
• Complete accuracy checks and maintain personnel files.
• Coordinate pre-employment screenings and ensure all documentation is submitted on time.
• Respond to HR inquiries and route offer approvals.
• Prepare letters and support updates in HR systems.
• Assist with onboarding, training administration, policy updates, and departmental projects that enhance HR programs.
• Ensure employees and leaders receive consistent and compliant support.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in administrative support or human resources.
• Experience with HR systems or applicant tracking systems; ISolved or ADP preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work professionally with employees and leaders.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills with the ability to manage high-volume transactions.
• Strong organization, prioritization, and time management abilities.
• Ability to research information, interpret policies, and apply standards independently.
• Understanding of employment standards as they relate to HR processes.
• Post-secondary education in HR, business administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bilingual fluency in French and English preferred.
