Role Description

CodePath is hiring a senior leader in Talent Acquisition who will own the hiring engine and define the talent acquisition strategy. You will report to the Head of People and be responsible for recruiting outcomes across the organization.

What You Will Own

• The talent acquisition strategy: Set the vision for attracting, evaluating, and hiring talent.
• Pipeline and throughput at scale: Ensure a strong slate of candidates for every open role.
• Build a team that scales: Grow the talent acquisition function and develop recruiters and managers.
• The hiring system: Own the process end to end, ensuring trustworthy decisions.
• Employer brand and market presence: Build CodePath's brand to attract strong candidates.
• The executive partnership and the numbers: Collaborate with senior leadership on role definition and own the recruiting narrative.

What Success Looks Like in Your First Year

• In your first 30 days: Map the funnel, meet hiring managers, and diagnose the hiring process.
• By 90 days: Define purpose for every stage, train interviewers, and approve team plan.
• By the end of your first year: Ensure strong finalists for every open role and improve time to hire.

Qualifications

• 10 or more years in talent acquisition, with experience leading growth.
• Experience building or rebuilding a hiring function.
• Data-driven: Knowledge of funnel metrics and conversion rates.
• High bar on quality and the ability to defend it under pressure.
• Experience building and scaling a recruiting team.
• Credibility with executives and the board.
• Hands-on approach with urgency to fix issues within 90 days.

Nice to Have

• Experience owning talent across technical and non-technical functions.
• Fluency with Greenhouse, Gem, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Experience in a high-growth startup or mission-driven organization.
• History of building employer brand and talent pools.

Compensation

Salary range: $175,000 - $200,000 USD, determined by relevant experience and skills.
