Role Description

The DES, Division of Child Support Services (DCSS) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Child Support Supervisor. This position is responsible for supervising a Child Support unit and working directly with clients and staff to:

• Establish paternity.
• Establish orders for child and medical support.
• Enforce administrative and judicial orders to collect child support monies and distribute to appropriate parties.

This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Qualifications

• One (1) year supervisory experience; or two (2) years work experience equivalent to a Child Support Specialist in Arizona State Service.
• Any combination of training and experience that meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) may be substituted.

Requirements

• Successfully pass background and reference check; employment is contingent upon completion of the above-mentioned process and the Agency’s ability to reasonably accommodate any restrictions.
• Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job to conduct State business, then the following requirements apply: Driver’s License Requirements.
