Role Description

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for creating a pipeline of talent for various positions within the organization.

Identify and keep in regular contact with passive and active candidates for current and future vacancies in Canada, United States, and the EU.
In conjunction with the Manager, HR, assess candidates’ suitability for specific positions within the organization.
Develop and maintain a database of active and passive candidates, keeping clear and concise notes of interactions.
Act as an Ambassador of Alimentiv and share the organization’s employee value proposition.
Enhance relationships with community employment organizations and institutions.
Develop an expert level understanding of specified positions and the industry and share market intelligence (i.e. compensation, LMI, events, etc.).

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in related field (Human Resources, Business Administration, Communication, Psychology, etc.), introductory related experience desirable (i.e. co-ops, internships).
OR College Diploma/degree with ~1-3 years' related experience and ongoing training.
Experience in HR, retail/customer services, or sales preferred.
Strong communication skills, ability to spend multiple hours a day on the phone.
Must be polished and be a good representation of the organization.
Strong active listening skills, and diplomacy and tact to work collaboratively with internal teams and sensitive personal information.
Time management and organization skills.
Willingness to learn and an interest in Life Sciences and clinical research.
