[Hiring] Recruiter Consultant @Dexis

Role Description

Dexis is seeking a Consultant Recruiter to support talent acquisition for programs with the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) and related federal clients. This role will lead full-cycle recruiting for highly specialized positions spanning international development, development finance, monitoring and evaluation (MEL), analytics, and enterprise IT.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience recruiting in federal contracting environments, with the ability to build pipelines for both proposal (pre-award) and program execution (post-award) staffing needs. This is a high-impact role requiring strong market insight, stakeholder engagement, and disciplined execution.

Responsibilities

• Actively source and screen qualified candidates using materials and guidance provided by Dexis.
• Share screening notes, résumés, and candidate recommendations with Dexis for review.
• Communicate any insights or intelligence shared by candidates to the Dexis team.
• Support interview scheduling and coordination, as needed.
• Maintain and regularly update a recruitment tracker with candidate status and progress.
• Participate in interviews of top candidates alongside Dexis staff.
• With Dexis' input and approval, negotiate salary expectations and benefits with preferred candidates.
• It may be necessary to attend check-ins with the wider program management team.
• Submit a summary of hours worked and activities completed at the end of each week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recruiting experience in federal contracting or government environments.
• Demonstrated experience supporting civilian federal agencies (e.g., DFC, State, USAID, MCC, or similar).
• Proven ability to recruit for mid- to senior-level professional and technical roles.
• Experience supporting proposal-driven recruiting efforts (pre-award pipeline development).
• Strong sourcing capability, including passive candidate engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting the U.S. Agency for International Development, Millennium Challenge Corporation, Inter-American Development Bank, or similar organizations.
• Background recruiting for development finance or investment roles.
• Existing network within the DC-based international development community.

Work Environment Requirements

• This is a fully remote position.
• The consultant will be expected to be available to screen candidates during normal business hours: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday.

Compensation

Hourly pay range: $40 — $50 USD.
