Role Description

The People Performance Specialist is responsible for building, managing, and continuously improving Muvr’s performance management systems. This role focuses on helping employees and managers set clear expectations, track performance, deliver feedback, and drive individual and team effectiveness as the company scales. This role reports to HR or People leadership and partners closely with managers across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performance Management Frameworks:
    • Design and maintain performance management processes (goal setting, reviews, feedback cycles).
    • Ensure performance expectations are clear, measurable, and aligned with company goals.
    • Support calibration and consistency across teams.
  • Manager Enablement & Coaching:
    • Enable managers to deliver effective feedback and performance conversations.
    • Support performance improvement plans and development plans.
    • Act as a thought partner on performance challenges.
  • Data, Insights & Measurement:
    • Track performance metrics, outcomes, and trends across teams.
    • Identify performance risks, gaps, or high-potential talent.
    • Use data to improve fairness, clarity, and effectiveness of performance systems.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Partner with HR, Ops, and Leadership on talent decisions.
    • Support promotions, role clarity, and career progression frameworks.
    • Ensure performance processes integrate with compensation and development.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Gather feedback on performance processes and iterate.
    • Improve documentation, tools, and manager resources.
    • Ensure performance management scales with company growth.

Qualifications

  • Required:
    • 4–7+ years of experience in people operations, performance management, or HR roles.
    • Experience designing or managing performance systems.
    • Strong coaching, communication, and facilitation skills.
    • Ability to handle sensitive performance conversations with discretion.
    • Analytical mindset with comfort using people's data.
  • Preferred:
    • Experience in startups or high-growth environments.
    • Experience supporting frontline and corporate teams.
    • HR certification or background in organizational development.
