Role Description
As a HR Business Partner at Scribd, you will strategically partner with managers and support the execution of key HR programs and initiatives. This role involves:
- Acting as a trusted strategic partner to managers across the organization
- Providing proactive coaching and expert guidance on key HR areas
- Empowering managers with effective performance management strategies
- Leading employee relations efforts, conducting workplace investigations and conflict resolution
- Shaping and driving key HR Programs and initiatives
- Leveraging HR analytics and workforce insights to identify trends
- Facilitating leadership training programs
- Collaborating across teams to lead impactful, cross-functional HR initiatives
- Being a culture champion, fostering an inclusive, high-performance workplace
Qualifications
- 4-6+ years of relevant HR Generalist/Business Partner experience
- Ability to think like a consultant and communicate like a coach
- Strong ability to build relationships and influence at all levels
- Tenacious and committed to exceptional outcomes
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution
- Proactive in getting things done
- Skilled communicator in both written and verbal forms
- Strong knowledge of Employment law and practices, specifically CA Employment law
- Familiarity with various HR systems and experience in a Mac environment using G-Suite
- Bachelor’s degree; additional HR related certifications or degrees a plus
