[Hiring] Contract Recruiter @MXD

Role Description

MxD is seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support full-cycle talent acquisition across multiple roles. This individual will partner closely with the People & Culture (P&C) team at MxD and hiring managers to drive efficient, high-quality hiring processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Intake & Hiring Strategy
  • Partner with P&C and hiring managers to define role requirements, success profiles, and interview processes
  • Lead or support intake calls and document hiring criteria, timelines, and expectations
  • Ensure alignment on interview structure and candidate evaluation approach
• Candidate Review & Screening
  • Review incoming applications against job qualifications
  • Conduct initial resume screenings and identify qualified candidates
  • Maintain clear documentation for candidate progression or disposition decisions
• Candidate Outreach & Engagement
  • Conduct outreach via ATS (Greenhouse), LinkedIn, email, or phone
  • Manage candidate communication throughout early stages
  • Ensure timely, professional follow-up
• Phone Screens / Initial Interviews
  • Conduct structured phone screens (up to 45 minutes)
  • Assess compensation expectations, qualifications, work authorization, and availability
  • Document interview notes and recommendations
• Interview Coordination
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate calendars
  • Ensure a seamless interview experience
• Sourcing Support (As Needed)
  • Source candidates via LinkedIn and other platforms
  • Maintain pipelines and support hard-to-fill roles

Deliverables & Expectations

• Weekly reporting on pipeline, interviews, and risks
• Consistent candidate communication
• Accurate ATS documentation
• Interview scheduling

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting
• Strong assessment and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple roles
• Sourcing experience
• Ability to work independently

Requirements

• Independent Contractor (1099)
• Access to company email and Greenhouse
• ~10 roles, 30–40 hours per role
• 45-day probationary period

Selection Process

• Proposal submission
• Interviews with People and Culture department and VP of Finance and Business Operations
• Evaluation based on experience and independence

Compensation

$50 — $65 USD
