[Hiring] Team Lead FP&A @Zentiva

Role Description

We are looking for a Team Lead FP&A (m/f/o), (Remote work possible from Germany) to strengthen our very capable Finance & ITS Team in Germany.

What Would Be Your Main Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of two FP&A Analysts, fostering both professional growth and technical expertise.
  • Create a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and business partnership.
  • Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and provide regular coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration within the Finance and wider business teams.
• Financial Planning & Analysis:
  • Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Deliver insightful financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast targets, identify key variances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Partner with business units to provide financial planning, performance management, and reporting support.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices across financial planning and analysis processes.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial and operational data used for decision-making.
• Data Analytics & Business Intelligence:
  • Oversee the development, enhancement, and maintenance of data models, dashboards, reporting systems, and performance metrics within the Power BI environment.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights for management and business stakeholders.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to non-technical managers to increase data literacy and self-service reporting capabilities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs and deliver effective analytical solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial and business processes through automation and digitalization.
  • Lead process automation initiatives in collaboration with commercial and cross-functional teams, leveraging Power Automate and related technologies.
  • Drive efficiency improvements, reduce manual effort, and enhance reporting capabilities through innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration/Economics/Finance/Accounting
• 10+ years of professional experience in areas of controlling (FP&A) /audit/accounting and data analytics in fast paced environment
• 2-3 years experience in a leadership role
• Proficiency in MS Office, advanced user of Excel, PowerBI, Copilot
• International experience is a big plus
• Fluency in English (fluency in German is nice to have)
• Comfortable with a fast-paced, dynamic, high-pressure environment
• Strong communication skills with ability to articulate the message precisely & concisely
• Growth mindset with positive, energetic can-do attitude
• Ability to work independently and be accountable for the work performed
• Strong project management skills
