Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 1 to 3 years of accounting or related finance experience
• Experience with QuickBooks Online
• Knowledge of GAAP fundamentals
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently

• Preferred:
• Experience with payroll processing
• Experience with nonprofit accounting
• Experience with journal entry preparation, bank and credit card reconciliations, and accounting record cleanup
• Experience with workflow automation
• Interest in forensic accounting
• CPA candidacy or interest in pursuing CPA or CFE credentials
