[Hiring] Senior Revenue Accountant @Cotiviti

Role Description

The Senior Revenue Accountant is responsible for supporting Cotiviti’s revenue accounting function through the application of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition guidance. This role includes:

• Reviewing customer contracts and evaluating complex revenue transactions.
• Preparing technical accounting documentation.
• Performing revenue-related journal entries and reconciliations.
• Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of revenue data within the Company's financial systems.
• Contributing to the monthly and quarterly financial close process.
• Maintaining compliance with SOX requirements and supporting audits.
• Facilitating the integration of newly acquired businesses into the revenue accounting processes.
• Partnering with various stakeholders to ensure accurate revenue recognition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Accounting.
• Certified Public Accountant (or on current path to achieve certification) is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience with a concentration in technical revenue accounting in the software industry.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition guidance.
• Experience reviewing and interpreting complex customer contracts and commercial arrangements.
• Experience in a public company environment and familiarity with SOX 404 compliance requirements preferred.
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar financial platforms.
• Experience supporting financial statement audits and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound professional judgment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight month-end and quarter-end deadlines.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or business integrations is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Base compensation ranges from $85,000 to $105,000.
