[Hiring] Senior Financial Analyst @Trident Consulting

Role Description

We are looking for a highly motivated team player who has strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, polished communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally as well as independently. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking experience within a dynamic and fast-paced FP&A organization, owning significant model assumptions, and providing critical decision support to leaders across the organization. The role is within the corporate finance team focusing on balance sheet and cashflow forecast. It reports to corporate finance director.

• Support monthly balance sheet and cashflow statement forecast, areas of focus will include:
  • Deferred Revenue
  • Accounts Receivables
  • Billings and Collections
  • Financial service-related interest receivable
  • Interest income and expense
  • Leases
  • Other miscellaneous assets/liabilities
• Deliver the variance analysis, including actual vs. forecast and current forecast vs. prior forecast.
• Work cross functionally with operation forecast team, accounting, procurement, data analytics, treasury, and technical accounting team to ensure the reporting and forecast accuracy.
• Use AI and automation tools to streamline recurring reporting and forecasting tasks, improving cycle time and accuracy.
• Special Projects – ad hoc analyses to support informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or business-related majors.
• 2+ years' experience in Accounting/Finance area.
• Thorough understanding of accounting/finance concepts, especially balance sheet and statement of cashflow.
• Working experience with budgeting and forecasting tools; familiarity with NetSuite/Adaptive is a plus.
• Strong Excel Skills; familiarity with AI/automation tools applied to financial planning and analysis is a plus.
• Highest levels of consistency and accuracy in work.
• Excellent Communication Skills.
• Experience dealing with ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Demonstrated experience or interest related to cybersecurity and/or SaaS.
• Self-starter who is comfortable advancing the ball with minimal direction or oversight; flexible and interested in learning.
