Role Description
The Senior Financial Analyst partners with the Finance Manager to support the credit union’s financial management activities, including:

Financial planning and analysis (FP&A)

Balance sheet management

Liquidity analysis

Treasury support

Risk management

Strategic decision support
This role combines strong financial acumen with a continuous improvement mindset, leveraging modern analytics, automation, and business intelligence tools to enhance:

The position serves as a key business partner across the organization, transforming financial data into actionable insights that support executive decision-making.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

4+ years of experience within a bank or credit union finance organization.

Demonstrated experience developing financial models, forecasts, budgets, management reporting, and business performance analysis.

Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and adapt to changing business needs.

High level of integrity, professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail.

Advanced proficiency in Excel; including financial modeling and data analysis.

Experience leveraging technology to improve financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, or process efficiency.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Requirements

Experience with business intelligence, analytics, automation, or reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, Power Platform, Copilot, or similar technologies.

Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to adopt emerging technologies, automation solutions, and AI-assisted tools.
