[Hiring] Senior Credit Manager @Tilt Finance

Role Description

Join the Tilt team as a Senior Credit Manager for Mexico. This remote role focuses on owning the day-to-day credit performance of our cash advance product, which has helped over 1 million customers since 2022.

• Own the credit performance of our core product:
• Set and tune the cash advance credit policy in Mexico, including eligibility, loan amount assignment, pricing, and repeat-loan progression.
• Balance growth and profitability for the product.
• Model the unit economics:
• Maintain and improve the valuations model for credit and marketing decision-making.
• Measure performance and identify opportunities.
• Run the test-and-learn agenda:
• Design, launch, and read experiments across the borrower lifecycle.
• Monitor and intervene:
• Track vintage performance, early delinquency, and roll rates.
• Diagnose and fix issues early.
• Turn model releases into policy:
• Partner with Data Science to implement new risk models.
• Own the release and monitoring plan.
• Drive results across the business:
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Collections, Finance, BI, and Marketing.
• Give and get:
• Share insights with credit teams in other markets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in consumer credit risk, fintech, or digital lending experience preferred.
• Experience managing credit policy for a live portfolio.
• Experience using AI tools to improve work velocity and quality.
• Built or owned a unit economics or valuations model for business decisions.
• Designed and read A/B tests with guardrails.
• Clear writing for an executive audience.
• Working knowledge of the Mexican consumer lending market.
• Professional fluency in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
