[Hiring] Senior Accountant @Findex

Role Description

Findex is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Virtual Operations Accounting & Tax team (AU). This is a permanent, full-time position offered on a fully remote basis, open to candidates anywhere in Australia.

Your role, your contribution!

• Responsible for ensuring that all aspects of clients’ engagement are running smoothly with a strong focus on client delivery.
• Prepare various tax compliances including but not limited to:
  • Business Activity Statements (BAS)
  • Financial statements
  • Reconciliations
  • Tax returns for companies, partnerships, trusts, and a range of individual businesses.
• Ensure jobs are completed effectively by meeting technical standards and deadlines, within budget.
• Ensure compliance obligations are met with various providers and statutory authorities on behalf of clients within the office locations.

Qualifications

• Proven accounting experience within Public Practice and strong knowledge of Australian taxation requirements.
• CA or CPA qualification or be working towards this.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and can work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Curious mindset, eager to learn and a passion for accounting and business advisory services.
