Role Description
Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including:

Profit & loss statements

Ensure accuracy and compliance with:

Oversee budgeting processes

Manage treasury functions such as:

Cash flow analysis

Accounts payable/receivable

Bank reconciliations

Conduct risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies related to:

Financial operations

Regulatory compliance

Market fluctuations

Coordinate with external auditors for audits

Ensure adherence to regulatory reporting standards including ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition)

Maintain comprehensive documentation for governmental and non-profit accounting requirements

Supervise general ledger accounting, account analysis, cost accounting, and account reconciliation activities to uphold data integrity

Drive strategic planning initiatives by analyzing financial concepts, investment opportunities, and revenue management strategies aligned with corporate finance goals

Utilize advanced financial software tools for accurate bookkeeping, balance sheet reconciliation, and financial report writing

Lead team efforts in financial management training, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in financial acumen across the organization
Qualifications

Proven experience in corporate accounting with a strong background in governmental or non-profit accounting preferred

Extensive knowledge of IAS (International Accounting Standards), IFRS, GAAP, ASC 606 standards, and technical accounting practices
-
Demonstrated expertise in risk management, risk analysis, and compliance management within real estate or property management sectors

Strong leadership skills with experience managing finance teams or cross-functional departments focused on financial planning and analysis

Proficiency in financial software systems such as ERP platforms or specialized real estate management tools

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data for strategic decision-making
-
Prior experience in budgeting, forecasting, investment management, cost management, and revenue recognition is highly desirable
