Role Description

Western Colorado University invites applications for the full-time position of Post-Award Grants Analyst. The position reports to the Controller, works closely with the Accounting department, the Pre-Award Specialist, and Department administrative staff, and is responsible for the management of all University grants, from setup to closeout. This job is eligible for remote work.

• Administer funding from federal, state, and private grants/sponsored projects awarded to the university.
• Ensure the institution meets compliance and financial reporting requirements.
• Work closely with department finance, providing data analysis to guide decision-making throughout the grant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and one year working in an accounting-related field, which may be substituted for an advanced finance or accounting degree.
• A degree in finance or accounting.
• One year of post-award grants management.
• Workday experience.
• Excel data analysis experience.

Requirements

• Compensation: $50,000-60,000. This position is FLSA exempt.
