[Hiring] Generalist — U.S. Tax Workflow Evaluation @24-MAG

Role Description

We are sharing a short-term consulting opportunity for financially literate U.S.-based professionals with recent hands-on tax-filing experience to evaluate real-world tax and financial workflows used in advanced AI training and workflow assessment.

Selected contributors will:

• Review U.S. tax-filing processes
• Compare system-generated outputs against real-world documents and scenarios
• Apply structured evaluation rubrics
• Provide clear feedback on workflow accuracy, completeness, and usability

Qualifications

• Currently residing in a mainland U.S. state
• Able to begin the project immediately
• Strong general financial literacy
• Hands-on experience filing 2025 U.S. taxes
• Familiarity with common personal tax documents and financial workflows
• Comfortable reviewing and annotating financial documents
• Strong attention to accuracy, consistency, and detail
• Ability to follow structured instructions and evaluation rubrics
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment
• No prior AI-training or model-evaluation experience is required

Requirements

• Independent contractor engagement
• Short-term project
• Remote — mainland United States only
• Compensation: $30–$110/hour
• Immediate availability is preferred
• Work will involve U.S. tax workflow evaluation, document review, rubric application, and feedback
• Contributors must have practical experience filing 2025 U.S. personal taxes
• Secure connection of personal financial accounts through Plaid may be required
• Personal Gmail and Google Drive access may also be required for approved workflow-review tasks
• Relevant tax documents may be shared for project purposes, with personally identifiable information sanitised before downstream use
• Work must be completed without using confidential, proprietary, client-specific, account-identifying, or otherwise restricted information belonging to any employer, financial institution, client, or other third party
