Role Description

We are looking for an experienced SAIPA-qualified professional to take ownership of an internal finance function while also supporting key operational processes within a fast growing, modern and remote South African professional services business. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership, working independently, improving processes and being part of a growing business.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Finance
  • Manage the full monthly finance function, including bookkeeping and transaction processing.
  • Run monthly payroll and manage salaries, supplier payments and expenses.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
  • Manage invoicing, statements and debtor follow-up.
  • Handle VAT, PAYE, provisional tax, income tax and other statutory submissions.
  • Assist with annual financial statements and CIPC compliance.
  • Support proposal preparation, renewals and scope changes.
  • Manage and monitor finance-related inboxes.
• Operations
  • Monitor and maintain processes within the practice management system.
  • Conduct workflow, work allocation and overdue work checks.
  • Support new employee onboarding, hardware and office administration.
  • Coordinate internal KPI collection.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of company events, social initiatives and employee engagement activities.

Qualifications

• SAIPA qualified and registered.
• 2+ years post-articles experience within an internal finance environment.
• Exposure to the full finance function and relevant compliance requirements.
• Strong Excel and general software skills.
• Comfortable working across both finance and operational responsibilities.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Reliable, accurate and able to take ownership without constant supervision.
• Able to take ownership of work and work in a full remote environment.
