[Hiring] Finance Manager @Nordson Corporation

Role Description

Performs a variety of financial activities, including:

• Accounting
• Financial analysis
• Audit
• Tax
• Credit and collections

Develops and evaluates financial plans and policies. Establishes and maintains accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls. Maintains accounting reports/schedules for internal audiences (management reporting) and/or for external audiences (compliance reporting) including:

• Consolidation of financial statements
• Cash flow reporting
• Budget reporting

We are seeking a seasoned, high maturity Finance Manager, as an anchor to our Thailand office. She will take ownership of the end-to-end financial and subledger reporting process, supported by 2 local account executives. As the role is 100% remote, reporting to a Senior Finance manager in Singapore, we require a disciplined professional with the emotional intelligence, good problem-solving skills, and professional maturity to manage local stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above, in Accounting / Finance/Business / Economics or related field.
• At least 5 years’ relevant working experience in a MNC environment.
• Experience working with different government agencies and Bureaus for Social insurances, Tax, Ministry of Commerce, Customs, etc.
• Experience with payroll.
• Experience managing a small team.
• Experience preparing local statutory accounts as well as reporting under US GAAP.

Requirements

• High level of IT literacy, with experience in SAP is strongly preferred.
• Able to work independently and very hands-on.
• Strong communication skills, including excellent command of both spoken and written English.
• Confidence to work with and support local operations, sales and service management.
• Comfortable with being remotely managed from overseas.
• Having business acumen is a good advantage.
