Role Description

Micro1 is engaging experienced finance and accounting practitioners to design realistic benchmark tasks that measure AI capability. No prior AI experience is required.

• Build multi-step FP&A, financial-reporting, audit and reconciliation tasks
• Supply spreadsheets, general-ledger extracts, financial statements and policies
• Define objective grading criteria
• Ensure the work requires professional judgment and can be graded consistently
• Flag ambiguous tasks
• Deliver approved work to the required quality and schedule

Qualifications

• At least five years of direct hands-on responsibility in FP&A, reporting, audit, reconciliations or accounting
• Experience applying review standards and checklists
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to reason across several documents
• Strong written English (B2 advanced or C1 minimum)
• AI or LLM evaluation experience is a plus

Requirements

• CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent is helpful but not required

Benefits

• Remote contractor opportunity
• Payment is per approved task, with approximately 10 hours per task
• Hourly equivalent of US$40–US$90/hour
