[Hiring] Head of Accounting @Coinspaid

Role Description

We are looking for a Head of Accounting to lead the company's accounting function, ensure accurate financial records, timely financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The primary focus of this role is to manage accounting operations, lead the teams, automate processes, and improve overall efficiency.

• Oversee and manage accounting operations across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Oversee tax accounting and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Manage account reconciliations, bank balances, and settlements with counterparties.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, internal controls, and procedures.
• Drive optimization and automation of accounting processes.
• Lead the accounting team, delegate responsibilities, and monitor performance.
• Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting principles.
• Experience working with international companies and multiple legal entities.
• Solid understanding of tax regulations and audit procedures.
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting process automation.
• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher.

Requirements

• Experience in FinTech, Payments, Banking, or Crypto (nice to have).
• Experience accounting for cryptocurrency and payment transactions (nice to have).
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA (nice to have).
