Role Description

The Manager, Data Management coordinates the governance, integrity, and operational execution of Henry Schein’s Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) environment to ensure accurate, consistent, and audit-ready financial and master data for global reporting, executive decision-making, and public filings. This role is responsible for coordinating EPM data governance activities including:

• Metadata management
• Data integrity reviews
• Reconciliations
• Restatements
• Reporting controls
• Governance documentation
• Audit support

This individual will also coordinate and execute data conversion/data restatement efforts due to their complexity and change management guidance of narrative reporting dimension changes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Oracle EPM Cloud applications (FCCS, Planning, EDM, Narrative Reporting)
• Experience coordinating and supporting enterprise financial close and consolidation processes
• Advanced understanding of financial reporting concepts
• Experience coordinating and performing data validation, variance analysis, and reconciliation activities
• Strong understanding of SOX controls and audit support processes
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities

Requirements

• Coordinate enterprise-wide data governance processes
• Oversee and perform routine system and data integrity reviews
• Coordinate and execute annual restatement and data conversion activities
• Investigate and resolve data variances
• Maintain and oversee governance tools and metadata structures
• Coordinate the development, testing, and implementation of system enhancements
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements
• Coordinate audit support activities
• Coordinate and perform reconciliations and validation activities
• Develop, maintain, and oversee SmartView, Ad Hoc, and reporting book outputs
• Provide and coordinate ad hoc reporting, analysis, and data support
• Serve as a subject matter expert on governance processes and reporting standards
• Provide guidance and educate users on data governance procedures
• Own and manage the annual data restatement cycle
• Coordinate and contribute to special projects and process improvement initiatives
