Role Description

This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions. The primary goal is to enable secure, reliable, and scalable data exchange with both internal and external partners, ensuring compliance with enterprise and regulatory standards like HIPAA.

• Manage and support MFT platforms, specifically Axway Secure Transport and/or IBM Sterling Integrator.
• Configure and maintain various file transfer protocols including SFTP, AS2, FTPS, and HTTPS.
• Lead end-to-end partner onboarding processes, covering connectivity setup, trading partner configuration, file routing and validation, and deployment to production.
• Ensure secure data exchange, adhering to enterprise policies and regulatory requirements such as HIPAA.
• Monitor file transfers, proactively troubleshoot failures, and ensure strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Perform incident management and resolution, utilizing tools like ServiceNow, with a focus on reducing Mean Time To Resolution (MTTR).
• Develop and enhance monitoring, alerting, and logging mechanisms for proactive issue detection.
• Collaborate effectively with business and technical teams to fulfill data exchange requirements.
• Drive automation initiatives (COLA) for onboarding and operational processes to minimize manual effort.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in the reliability, performance, and scalability of MFT operations.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of relevant experience in Managed File Transfer solutions.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with MFT tools such as Axway Secure Transport and/or IBM Sterling Integrator.
• Strong knowledge of SFTP, AS2, and other essential file transfer protocols.
• Practical experience with IBM Transformation Extender (ITX), ITX Advanced (ITXA), and/or Sterling Integrator Mapping tools.
• Extensive experience in designing and supporting complex data transformations across various file formats, including EDI, XML, JSON, CSV, and Fixed-Length files.
• Understanding of EDI transaction sets and data mapping concepts.
• Experience with partner onboarding processes and supporting production environments.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing and incident management tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working within Agile development environments.
