Role Description

The WellBe care model is a Physician Led Advanced Practice geriatric care team focused on the care of the frail, poly-chronic, elderly Medicare Advantage patients. This population is typically underserved and very challenged with access to care. To address these problems, we have elected to bring the care to the patient, instead of trying to bring the patient to the care. Care is provided throughout the entire continuum of care – from chronic care and urgent care in the home, to hospital, to skilled nursing facility, to assisted living, to palliative care, to end of life care.

This role will advance WellBe’s understanding of our patient's healthcare utilization and how we can reduce unnecessary healthcare costs while achieving better patient outcomes and patient experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge/understanding of healthcare data sets, including medical claims, HCC, HEDIS, Eligibility and Census.

The HealthCare Reporting Analyst will be responsible for collecting, preparing, and acting upon data to ensure data integrity. This role will give you the opportunity to use your analytical knowledge and skill to derive insights which will drive actions and generate value from that intelligence by initiating new analytic solutions and by providing input to operations processes.

We are looking for a digital native with a curious and inventive mind, obsessive attention to detail, and an instinctive understanding of how to explore, understand and communicate data; someone who appreciates the importance of clarity, simplicity and has the creativity to envision outstanding user experiences and the discipline to make them real.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 4 years of data stewardship or data analysis experience. Healthcare experience required.
• 2+ years of experience in health care data analysis.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of Enterprise Reporting and Analysis tools, SQL, and visual analytic applications.
• Proven experience, ideally in healthcare, with Data Governance, Catalog and Data Quality products.
• Hands-on experience defining data and quality standards and building data integration workflows in a data analyst role.
• Fluency in SQL or other similar programming languages.
• Some development experience in at least one scripting language (Python, R, etc.) is a plus.
• Experience launching internal metric dashboards and scorecards.
• Snowflake experience preferred.
• Computer programming basics to interpret and understand logic/code behind.

Benefits

• Salary: $70,000 - $141,000/year.

Work Conditions

• Ability to lift up to 20lbs. Moving lifting or transferring of patients may involve lifting of up to 50lbs as well as assist with weights of more than 100lbs.

• Ability to drive to patient locations (ie. home, hospital, SNF, etc).
• Fine motor skills.
