[Hiring] Associate Financial Analyst @LastPass

Role Description

LastPass is looking for an Associate Financial Analyst. In this role, you will support financial planning and finance systems implementation. This is an entry-level role where you will help teams plan with confidence and report accurately — helping LastPass deliver on its mission to give everyone seamless access to everything they need to work, move fast, and stay protected.

About the Team

The Finance team partners with business leaders across LastPass to turn plans into measurable results. Our analysts build forecasts, review spending and headcount, and keep reporting accurate. The team is also modernizing its planning and reporting tools, giving you hands-on exposure to both everyday FP&A work and a major systems implementation.

Who will you work with?

• You will work primarily with the Human Resources and Legal teams, supporting their planning and reporting needs alongside senior Finance partners.
• You will also collaborate with the wider Finance and Accounting teams, IT, and the implementation specialists rolling out new budgeting and forecasting software, learning from peers across each group.

What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?

• Support HR and Legal leaders with forecast updates, purchase and headcount approvals, and data reconciliations to keep operational plans on track.
• Assist other departments with forecasting and reconciliation work to keep reporting consistent across LastPass.
• Support implementation of new FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting software, working with Finance, Accounting, IT, and external partners to resolve issues and improve workflows.
• Gather business requirements from Finance stakeholders and translate them into system specifications.
• Validate data migrations, data mappings, and reporting outputs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Document current-state and future-state financial processes to guide system design.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve financial reporting efficiency.
• Prepare presentation materials and assist with ad-hoc strategic and operational projects for Finance leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with working proficiency in Excel.
• Proven experience using AI tools such as Claude and Copilot.
• Understanding of SaaS and go-to-market metrics.
• Recognised internally as a self-starter with exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience in working with the three financial statements and understanding how they connect.

Requirements

• Experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (great, but not required).
• Experience presenting data findings to executives (great, but not required).
• Experience in finance business systems or software implementation (great, but not required).
