[Hiring] Accounting & Billing Specialist @Network Runners

Role Description

Network Runners, Inc. (NRI) is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting & Billing Specialist to support the company’s accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, along with day-to-day administrative functions. The ideal candidate will be a proactive professional with a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and a willingness to learn and grow with the company. Experience in a DoD or federal government contracting environment is strongly preferred, particularly in areas such as:

• Contract invoicing
• Payroll
• Other Direct Costs (ODCs)
• Travel reimbursement
• Expense reconciliation
• Financial recordkeeping

The individual will work closely with employees and company leadership to ensure timely, accurate, and well-maintained financial and administrative records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience.
• Experience with federal government strongly preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidential payroll and financial information.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Candidate must be able to clear Background/Drug test.

Requirements

• Process payroll and review employee timesheets.
• Track and reconcile travel, ODCs and employee expenses on contracts.
• Prepare and submit invoices for active federal contracts.
• Maintain payroll records and assist with related reporting and reconciliations.
• Review employee travel expense reports and supporting receipts.
• Reconcile corporate credit cards, employees’ expenses, and other accounts.
