Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Virtual Analyst / Bookkeeper to join our remote team in a Part Time shift. This role combines bookkeeping with financial reporting and administrative support to ensure accurate financial records and efficient operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proficient in accounting software, and capable of working independently in a virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Data Management & Reporting
    • Input, verify, and reconcile financial data: Ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    • Categorize and code financial transactions: Addressing the coding and allocation of transactions.
    • Record and maintain financial transactions: Recording purchases, expenses, sales revenue, invoices, and payments.
    • Manage accounts payable and receivable: Processing and reconciliation of these accounts.
    • Assist in preparing financial reports and statements: Combining report compilation and statement preparation aspects.
    • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures: Adhering to regulations.
  • Administrative
    • Schedule and Communication Management: Managing schedules, coordinating meetings and appointments, and organizing email correspondence.
    • Document and Presentation Support: Preparing and formatting documents, financial presentations, and other materials as needed.
    • Data Organization and File Management: Performing accurate data entry and managing databases.
    • Meeting and Travel Coordination: Arranging travel itineraries, booking accommodations, and coordinating meeting logistics.
    • Confidentiality and Information Handling: Maintaining strict confidentiality of all financial, business, and personal information.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, administrative support, and financial data entry.
  • Familiarity in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in bookkeeping or accounting (e.g., CPA, CMA).
  • Experience with virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Trello, Asana).
  • Familiarity with industry-specific financial regulations and compliance standards.
