Role Description
As a Senior Consultant, you will be part of a team responsible for solving the most complex issues faced by hospitals, health systems, and medical groups. You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of projects within the healthcare revenue cycle realm to achieve financial growth objectives for your clients.
- Manage assigned project workstreams, adhering to project timelines and producing high quality deliverables for clients and internal executives.
- Assist with coaching and mentoring for Consultants.
- Follow a clearly defined career path and continue to deepen your specialized industry knowledge and consulting skills.
- Progress to the Managing Consultant level as you hone your project deliverable skills and aptitude for managing multiple workstreams.
Qualified candidates will possess deep working knowledge in one or more of the below specialty areas:
- Revenue Integrity
- Charge Capture
- Revenue Reconciliation
- Revenue Modeling
- Charge Description Master (CDM)
- Financial Analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of revenue cycle management experience, focused on optimization and performance improvement
- 3+ years of management consulting, professional services, and/or project management experience
- Demonstrated ability to present to large groups, both externally and within the practice
- Proven success in driving operational process improvement and change management for revenue cycle optimization projects within hospitals and/or health systems
Requirements
- Master's Degree or higher in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Clinical Administration (nice to have)
- Certifications in Epic (nice to have)
- Intermediate to advanced data manipulation and analytical skills using Excel (a plus)
