Role Description

As an IT Governance & Financial Analyst (m/f/d), you’ll play a key role in ensuring our governance framework operates seamlessly.

Process and validate IT data for monthly reports while maintaining high standards of data quality and automating the process.
Support the tracking and evaluation of IT investments to ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment with business goals.
Monitor IT budgets, track expenditures, and prepare financial reports to support decision-making and forecasting.
Provide project performance data to accounting for accurate financial tracking and invoicing.
Collaborate with the IT governance team to develop concepts and roll out new governance initiatives.
Prepare impactful presentations and reports for IT management, ensuring key insights are clearly communicated.
Conduct data analysis to identify risks and recommend opportunities for improvement using automation tools like Power Query, Power BI or similar.

Qualifications

A completed professional education in the IT field or a comparable qualification.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Jira, Excel, Confluence and Power Query/Power BI.
Experience in IT “investment” controlling (monitoring and reporting) is an advantage.
Experience in IT project management, governance principles like COBIT/ITIL, and IT process documentation is a great plus.
Good knowledge of German (B2 level) is essential.
Business proficiency in English required.
