Role Description
This is a 6-month contract position, with the potential for extension or a permanent offer based on performance and business needs. You'll be responsible for tracking key financials, analyzing profitability, and managing departmental budgets. The role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of finance and e-commerce for a globally recognized brand.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, including P&L statements, cost structures, and profitability metrics.
- Track the DTC department budget, including vendor orders, and flag any variances from the approved budget.
- Evaluate cost trends and identify opportunities for savings and operational efficiencies.
- Work closely with the finance team to reconcile data, validate financial accuracy, and ensure consistent reporting.
- Develop clear, actionable financial reports to support business leadership in strategic decision-making.
- Assist in financial forecasting and scenario planning to aid long-term strategy and budgeting.
Qualifications
- Experience in financial analysis, ideally within e-commerce, retail, or FMCG sectors
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management
- Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking
- Proactive, communicative, and collaborative team player
- Comfortable working in a remote, international environment
