Role Description
As the Director, Accounts Receivable at Conga, you’ll lead our global collections team and drive efficiency in our accounts receivable operations.
- Oversee the AR close process including reconciliation of AR sub-ledger to GL
- Manage allowance of bad debt and suspensions
- Adhere to credit and collections policies
- Implement strategies to improve collections and reduce outstanding balances
- Improve DSO (days sales outstanding)
- Collaborate across teams and leaders to streamline processes through automation and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of credit analysis and financial statements
- Experience managing a high-volume AR operation
- Ability to support financial audits by maintaining “audit-proof” processes
- Experience leading a high-performing, global team
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Proactive in completing work and introducing beneficial projects
- Strong attention to detail with established processes
- Clear, deliberate, and collaborative communicator
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel with experience working with large data sets
- Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce is beneficial
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, or a related field is highly preferred
- Industry expertise in Revenue Lifecycle Management software (CPQ & CLM) and/or Salesforce platform
