Role Description
The CFO at Happy Mammoth will be a strategic financial leader, responsible for driving profitability, financial scalability, and business growth in a high-performance, data-driven environment.
- Oversee all financial strategy, forecasting, risk management, and capital allocation
- Ensure the company is positioned for sustainable expansion
- Requires a proactive, hands-on finance leader with experience in eCommerce, DTC brands, or CPG
- Understand scaling financial operations, managing cash flow, and optimizing profitability in a digital-first business model
Qualifications
- 10+ years of financial leadership experience, preferably in eCommerce, CPG, DTC brands, or high-growth startups
- Proven experience in scaling financial operations, P&L management, and revenue growth strategies
- Deep understanding of eCommerce financial metrics (CAC, LTV, ad spend attribution, conversion rates, and churn)
- Experience with financial reporting tools, ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks), and data analytics tools
- Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business strategy
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience working with CEOs, investors, and cross-functional teams
Requirements
- This is a full-time fully remote contractor role
- Preferably with a background in B2C marketing
- Must be available during EU hours (GMT)
