Role Description

Leland is seeking an experienced visual arts coach to work with artists looking to sharpen their craft and grow their careers. This role includes:

• Teaching visual arts techniques, artistic expression, and art history
• Guiding students through exhibition planning and art marketing to help them present and sell their work
• Supporting skill building and the career side of the journey, including:
  • Resume review
  • Interview prep
  • Salary negotiation
  • Networking strategy
  • Freelancing for those pursuing independent artistic work

Coaches set their own hours and rates, host sessions virtually, and partner with our team to deliver a high-quality, supportive experience for every student.

Qualifications

• Professional experience as a visual artist
• Prior teaching or coaching experience
• Clear, structured approach to helping students grow both their craft and their career
