Role Description
The Learning Experience Designer is responsible for designing, developing, and measuring learning and performance solutions that build capabilities, improve learner outcomes, and drive meaningful business results across University of Farmers. This role owns learning solutions end to end β from needs analysis and consultation through design, development, launch, and evaluation. You will partner closely with business leaders, line-of-business representatives, trainers, and subject matter experts to understand business challenges and translate them into effective learning experiences.

The ideal candidate combines strong instructional design expertise with consulting skills, creativity, visual and digital design capabilities, and a strong understanding of how learning can influence business performance.
Qualifications

Years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in instructional design, learning experience design, educational content development, or a related field

Bachelorβs degree in Education, Instructional Design, Design, Technology, Communication, or a related field preferred

Fluent English, with the ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders

Demonstrated experience designing scalable learning solutions across classroom, virtual, and online environments

Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles

Experience conducting needs analysis and translating business requirements into learning solutions

Experience with storyboarding, course development, visual design, and learning content production

Experience with Articulate 360, particularly Rise and Storyline

Familiarity with LMS/LXP platforms and digital learning technologies
-
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud or similar visual design tools

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining quality and deadlines

Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate learning effectiveness and connect learning outcomes to business results

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and continuously evolving environment
Requirements

Conduct learning and performance needs analyses for new and existing programs, identifying capability gaps and opportunities for improvement

Design and develop end-to-end learning solutions aligned with business objectives and learner needs

Develop training curricula, certificate programs, instructor-led materials, virtual learning, e-learning, job aids, coaching resources, and performance support tools

Apply adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and innovative learning techniques to create engaging and effective learning experiences

Create storyboards, learning journeys, course materials, interactive experiences, and digital learning content

Use tools such as Articulate 360, Rise, Storyline, Adobe Creative Cloud, video editing platforms, and AI-powered video tools to develop learning experiences

Recommend the most appropriate learning format, technology, and delivery approach based on the audience, business need, and desired outcome

Research emerging learning technologies, instructional design practices, and industry trends to continuously improve learning solutions

Partner with business leaders, school leads, subject matter experts, trainers, and other stakeholders to understand business challenges and design effective solutions

Lead consultations and business meetings to identify learning opportunities and recommend solutions that support business objectives

Analyze learner outcomes and business results to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend modifications to learning solutions

Support trainers and facilitators with learning materials, measurement approaches, facilitation resources, and evaluation activities

Evaluate the effectiveness of complex learning solutions and use findings to improve future programs

Establish measurement approaches to track learner success, learning effectiveness, and business results generated by learning initiatives

Collaborate with learning, performance, technology, and business teams to ensure solutions are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with organizational priorities

Develop recommendations based on data, learner feedback, business performance, and evaluation findings

Stay current with trends in instructional design, learning technology, adult learning, digital learning, and emerging AI capabilities

Contribute to continuous improvement of learning design standards, processes, tools, and best practices
