Your Impact as a Junior Product Designer:

• Be at the forefront of hands-on design execution, directly influencing the user experience of a critical health portal.
• Ensure consistency, efficiency, and a modern aesthetic across various state-specific variations.
• Collaborate closely with product teams, leveraging your Figma expertise and embracing innovative AI-assisted tools.
• Contribute to a project with tangible societal benefits.

Qualifications

• Solid foundational skills in Figma, including expertise in component library usage, variants, auto layout, and responsive layouts.
• Familiarity with applying design system guidelines and UI kits to create real-world interface designs.
• Comfort working through missing details or ambiguous requirements by confidently asking questions and following up with Product partners.
• Basic experience or familiarity tracking design tasks and progress in Jira.
• A strong curiosity or hands-on experience using AI design assistants (e.g., Figma Make, Figma Agent, Claude Code) to enhance productivity and streamline workflows.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment.
• Be able to work on a W-2 basis. C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position.
