Role Description

Your Role on the Team:

• Applies skills as a seasoned/experienced admissions professional to identify potential students.
• Independently reviews applications for admission, using professional judgment in determining whether applicants meet the requirements for admission.
• Assists department with the planning and execution of admitted student yield events.

Special Conditions:

• 6 month by agreement contract.
• Able to work remotely and independently.
• Able to attend ASW and assist with onsite yield efforts as needed.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge and understanding of colleges and universities offering bachelor’s degrees.
• Thorough knowledge and experience working with a diverse student population.
• Ability to interpret and communicate University policies and procedures to prospective students and the public.
• Thorough and comprehensive knowledge of academic programs, including curricula, admissions requirements, and financial aid programs, at UCI Law School.
• Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
• 10+ years reviewing applications for admission and making recommendations on candidacy.
• 10+ years assessing Character and Fitness issues and potential impact on candidacy for law school program or bar exam.
• 10+ years working with professional or faculty Admissions Committees and making recommendations.

Requirements

• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with schools, universities, community organizations, and other institutions.
• Ability to develop recruitment and yield programs, and design effective materials.
• Master's degree (preferred).

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $27.00 - $35.00 (Hourly).
