Role Description
This position will be responsible for development, design of training programs, special projects, quality assurance, and compliance training.

Administer proficiency tests.

Involvement with testing and installation of system upgrades.

Conduct training classes and course development with appropriate materials.

Coordination and planning of new and refresher training courses.
Qualifications
-
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Two (2) yearsβ experience in revenue cycle (patient financial services/patient access).

Bachelors in Business, Education, or Health Care related field (preferred).

One (1) year experience in Training/Organizational Development or employee training activities (preferred).
Requirements
-
Provides education and training for revenue cycle operations applications throughout the healthcare organization.

Demonstrates thorough knowledge of hospital scheduling and patient access systems, patient accounting, and quality monitors.

Maintains comprehensive knowledge of 3rd party billing requirements and reimbursement principles.

Coordinates and provides appropriate training of new employees and re-training for current employees.

Generates schedules and educational tracking records for ongoing employee education.

Delivers training using various methods including lecture, demonstration, and simulation.

Administers competency assessment and skills checklist.

Collaborates with Revenue Cycle Trainer on continuing education needs.

Participates in revenue cycle management quality audit and reports findings.

Maintains current knowledge of performance improvement processes as it applies to healthcare.

Promotes teamwork and contributes positively to department collaboration.
