Role Description
The Employee Growth & Development Specialist utilizes knowledge of adult learning theory, curriculum development, learning technologies and tools, process development and improvement, as well as program effectiveness and metrics tracking, to create and lead successful learning and development initiatives that support employee growth and development.

Collaborate with Learning, Human Resources, and organizational leaders to define and design scalable, employee growth training, including the scope, objectives, and learning lifecycle for employee growth and development.

Curate and customize learning courses and programs to meet both the tactical and strategic objectives of the organization and intended employee groups.

Conduct and coordinate employee training experiences (onsite and virtual) to support internal teams.

Develop, evaluate, and continuously improve training programs to keep current with technology, development approaches, new learning modalities, and training audience needs.

Effectively communicate learning leading practices for internal training programs that support learning outcomes across the organization.

Monitor the effectiveness of learning initiatives and proactively recommend improvements.

Develop and provide metrics to leadership on learning strategy and outcomes.

Facilitate core-skills development and leadership training.

Keep a working knowledge of symplr products to curate product training into employee growth learning paths, as applicable.

Continuously grow functional and industry knowledge through training, research, and collaboration.

Adopt and develop department operational standards and procedures to maximize team efficiencies.

Qualifications

Bachelorโs Degree required.

Minimum 10+ years of experience in creating and administering employee learning programs required with at least 5 years in leadership development.

Experience utilizing adult learning theory and application in learning program development.

Experience in setting goals, objectives, and metrics around learning programs.

Ability to analyze key metrics that indicate a learning initiativeโs success and provide concise and meaningful reports to Leadership and Executive teams.

Strong presentation, training facilitation, written, and verbal skills.

Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications required; proficiency in curriculum development programs and technical acumen strongly preferred.
Requirements

This job operates in a remote office-based setting.

This position does require travel up to an estimated 25%.

This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position.

Typical work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the โcoreโ work hours of 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM in their working time zone.
