Role Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong experience in AWS cloud, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, and DevSecOps practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Migrating on-premises applications to AWS
• Building secure and automated deployment pipelines
• Implementing observability solutions
• Ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of cloud-hosted applications

Requirements

• Migrate existing on-premises applications to AWS Cloud with minimal downtime and ensure successful validation
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and manage AWS infrastructure
• Design and deploy highly available, scalable, multi-region, and multi-AZ AWS environments
• Build and maintain SNYK-integrated security pipelines for applications developed using Node.js, Python, Maven, and Gradle
• Integrate DevSecOps best practices into the software development lifecycle
• Design and implement end-to-end observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for cloud applications
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks
• Implement auto-scaling strategies and optimize infrastructure utilization and cloud costs
• Ensure security, compliance, vulnerability management, and patch management across cloud environments
• Perform capacity planning, asset tagging, and production environment governance
• Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and operational runbooks
• Collaborate with development, architecture, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver cloud-native solutions
• Coordinate effectively with onsite and offshore teams while participating in Agile ceremonies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience migrating enterprise applications from on-premises to AWS
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes/EKS
• AWS Certification (Associate or Professional) is preferred
• Experience with reusable Terraform modules and enterprise cloud governance
• Understanding of networking, IAM, and cloud security best practices
