Role Description
We are seeking a talented Video Editor & Motion Designer to join our video and creative production team. This is a hybrid role with an approximate 60% focus on Motion Design and 40% on Video Editing. The ideal candidate is a strong visual storyteller who can take a concept, product, or design and transform it into engaging video and motion content for social media, events, product demonstrations, and other creative initiatives.

Create engaging video content, social assets, motion graphics, animations, and creative content for digital channels and events.

Develop motion graphic sizzles, product demos, trailers, GIFs, and other animated content.

Edit live-action footage from shoots into polished, compelling final cuts.

Select and incorporate music and sound elements that support the story, pacing, and overall creative direction.

Develop the visual story and narrative behind each piece of content.

Transform Figma designs, product interfaces, and UI elements into polished motion assets.

Create original graphics and incorporate them into video and motion projects.

Collaborate with creative and cross-functional teams to translate concepts into high-quality visual content.

Independently manage creative execution while maintaining strong visual consistency and attention to detail.

Support creative projects across social media, product marketing, events, and other brand initiatives.

Edit footage from video shoots and other source materials.

Create polished social media videos, trailers, product videos, and other creative content.

Build strong pacing and transitions that support the intended story.

Select and work with music to enhance the emotional impact and flow of the edit.

Organize footage and deliver professional-quality final cuts.

Use Adobe Premiere Pro to produce high-quality video content.
Motion Design β 60%

Design and produce sophisticated 2D and 3D motion graphics and animations.

Create motion graphic sizzles, product demonstrations, social animations, GIFs, and event assets.

Use Adobe After Effects to develop high-quality motion content.
-
Work with Figma files and product UI/design systems to create engaging animated experiences.

Translate static product designs and interfaces into polished motion assets.

Develop original graphics and visual elements when required.
-
Demonstrate strong visual design judgment and attention to composition, typography, movement, and overall aesthetics.

Independently develop and art direct motion concepts from initial idea through final delivery.
Qualifications

Strong professional experience in both video editing and motion design.

Stronger depth in motion design, while maintaining solid video editing capabilities.

Advanced experience with Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro.

Strong 2D and 3D animation capabilities.
-
Experience creating motion graphics from Figma files and product/UI designs.
-
Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, composition, and creative direction.
-
Ability to create original graphics and incorporate them into video projects.

Ability to take a concept and independently develop it into a compelling visual story.

Strong portfolio demonstrating a combination of motion design and video editing.
Preferred Qualifications

Previous agency experience is highly desirable.

Experience creating content for social media, product marketing, events, and digital campaigns.

Experience producing commercials, video trailers, product demos, and social-first content.

Experience working across both live-action video and motion graphics.

Strong ability to work independently while managing multiple creative projects and deadlines.
Portfolio Requirements

Candidates should provide a portfolio demonstrating both video editing and motion design capabilities, including:

Motion design: Motion graphic sizzles, 2D/3D animation, product/UI animation, or similar work.

Video editing: A music-driven edit and/or social media-focused video demonstrating strong storytelling, pacing, and editing ability.

A range of work showing the ability to adapt creative execution to different concepts, formats, and audiences.
