[Hiring] User Experience Developer 4-ProdDev @Oracle

Role Description

Responsible for creating, evaluating and modifying prototypes to support evolving hardware and software application development. As a member of the User Experience team, analyze user needs and apply software design/usability processes toward developing or modifying software solutions. Provide product usability, evaluation and support to product development teams, including the analysis and investigation of applications/systems. May assist in developing design concept and implementation, providing input on user design considerations. May produce specifications describing user needs and internal structures for product in development. May telecommute.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, or related field
• 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a user experience developer-related occupation

Requirements

• Design research, including discovery, usability, evaluation, opportunity definition and prioritization, analysis, and communication
• Design systems, applying libraries correctly, advocating effectively for Enhancement Requests using Figma Design
• Competitive research
• Design thinking, including framing, journey maps, ideation, and cross-functional facilitation
• Design operations, including intake, project planning, reviews, establishing cross-discipline roles, and creation of reusable templates for artifacts and processes
• Information architecture, including targeted research, page or flow diagramming
• UI / UX prototyping and design which includes refinement, documentation, tracking, and developer collaboration using Figma, Jira and Confluence
• Graphic design using Figma
