[Hiring] Social Media & Graphic Design Specialist @Christie

Role Description

We are looking for a hands-on specialist who is both a social media manager and a working graphic designer. Strategy and creative direction come from the Marketing Director; this person turns approved briefs into content calendars and polished, on-brand posts, then schedules and publishes them.

• The right candidate works independently within brand guidelines.
• Checks their own work carefully before submitting it.
• Communicates early when something is blocked.
• Proactive: notes open questions for later and keeps working on what they can create and control.
• Takes direction well: applies feedback fully and carries it into future work.

Brands supported: Christie Lites, Sunlarus, illumixx

Qualifications

• Professional experience managing social media channels for brands, including content calendars and performance reporting.
• A portfolio of their own graphic design work showing typography, layout, visual hierarchy, and consistent use of brand guidelines.
• Experience independently building content calendars, from ideas through production and publishing.
• Hands-on use of social scheduling tools and analytics.
• Fluent written English, with strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading.
• Experience handling more than one brand or client, each with its own look and tone of voice.
• Proficiency in the design tools behind their portfolio, and the ability to hand over organized, editable source files.
• A proactive working style: sets aside open questions for later and focuses on the work they can move forward.
• Takes direction well: applies feedback fully the first time and remembers it for future work.

Requirements

• Adobe Creative Suite proficiency (nice to have).
• Short-form video editing and basic motion graphics (nice to have).
• Experience updating website content (nice to have).
• Experience with B2B brands (nice to have).
• Spanish, helpful for Sunlarus content (nice to have).
