[Hiring] Paid Social Specialist @The Corporate Genius

Role Description

Spend tax season running YouTube at scale. Our client is a well-known online tax preparation brand, and every winter its marketing goes into overdrive. They're looking for a hands-on YouTube and paid social specialist to own day-to-day execution of their in-house YouTube buying during the busiest stretch of the year.

This isn't a "watch the dashboard" role. You'll build campaigns, catch problems before they cost money, and turn performance data into recommendations that leadership acts on. You'll work directly with the Senior Manager of Paid Social and a collaborative media team, with meaningful budget and visible impact on year-over-year Brand and Performance results.

What You'll Do

• Run YouTube and Demand Gen campaigns end to end: planning, builds, trafficking, QA, and ongoing updates and maintenance.
• Keep campaigns healthy and improving: monitor pacing, delivery, creative performance, targeting, and budgets across the full funnel, and flag issues and opportunities early.
• Turn data into decisions: analyze results and deliver clear insights, test ideas, and optimization recommendations tied to Brand and Performance goals.
• Support paid social during peak periods: provide hands-on execution in Meta and TikTok, and partner with media, creative, analytics, and data teams on planning, reporting, and measurement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of paid media experience
• Significant hands-on experience planning, buying, and managing YouTube and Demand Gen campaigns across different stages of the funnel
• Strong command of YouTube and Demand Gen setup, trafficking, QA, targeting, creative management, budget pacing, and optimization
• Working knowledge of Meta and TikTok ads, with the ability to jump in and execute when needed
• Strong analytical skills and data literacy, with a track record of turning performance data into actionable recommendations
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Experience collaborating with media, creative, analytics, and data teams
• Familiarity with media reporting and measurement tools and processes
• Availability for 40 hours per week from mid-December through April
• Based in the Central or Eastern Time Zone
